What are BCAA amino acids and where do they come from?
Branch Chain Amino acids are the essential building blocks of protein. These are the amino acids L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine. BCAA supplements are an effective and useful blend of essential amino acids which the human body must ingest on a daily basis. Humans cannot manufacture BCAA's as they can non essential amino acids... hence the word essential... and must be consumed by eating protein rich sources such as meat, fish, dairy products, and vegetables such as legumes, peas, and grains. There are many types of BCAA supplements on the market. Some products claim to have a large quantity of amino acids, but come primarily from a protein source (such as milk). Unfortunately, people may have allergies associated with this protein source. Syn-Tec's BCAA supplement formula is comprised of the highest quality crystalline protein source. Fat and calorie free, it makes a great alternative to protein shakes.
