Why is Bromelain in the Pro Petite formula?
Bromelain (Ananas comosus) are a family of sulfhydryl proteolytic (protein digesting) enzymes derived from the stem and juice of the pineapple plant. Bromelain is added to protein formulas to aid in digestion.
